Acrylic on Canvas Board by David Morriseau
$150
One of a kind: there is only one.
Wonderful acrylic miniature on canvas board by the late David Morrisseau, signed lower right, depicting a woodland style bird perched on a branch. The bird, painted with clean, bold lines, features a striking combination of white, black, and burnt orange tones. The branch beneath it undulates gently and is composed of layered shades of maroon, pink, and dark purple. The background is a flat, vivid turquoise blue, creating a strong contrast.
One of his rarely seen works, very charming and soulful.. love the sense of harmony and quiet reverence for nature.
