Bold Mixed Media on Paper

Bold mixed media painting on paper, signed and dated 82 lower left, custom framed, it arranges everyday forms into a flattened, angular interior still life charged with theatrical color. At the center sits a faceted blue vessel, surrounded by sharply cut planes of crimson, orange, green, black, and violet that suggest tabletops, walls, leaves, and architectural panels. The layered surfaces and collage-like construction give the composition a distinctly modernist character, with simplified shapes locked together in a careful balance of tension and rhythm. Though built from hard edges and vivid contrasts, the image still hints at domestic intimacy - a bouquet, a container, a room - translated into an abstract visual language that feels both playful and formally controlled.
