“Green Lake, Quebec”, Watercolour on Paper

Lively watercolour landscape on paper, signed lower right, titled “Green Lake, Quebec” verso, capturing a quiet lakeside scene nestled among rolling green hills. The composition opens with a pale blue lake in the mid-distance, framed by dense forest and soft mountain forms that recede into a cloudy sky. In the foreground, loose washes of ochre, rust, and green suggest sandy shoreline, grasses, and shallow water, while a small wooden dock adds a rustic human presence. Spontaneous, atmospheric, and full of the damp, luminous character of a Quebec lakeside landscape.
