Ice Covered Leaves, Oil On Canvas

Charging oil on canvas, signed lower left, capturing a close-up winter moment: three curled leaves hanging from a thin branch, heavily coated in ice and snow. The leaves are painted in warm rust and brown tones, but they’re partially swallowed by thick, milky whites that drip and cling like frozen glaze, forming icicle-like strands and rounded drops at the edges. Set against a clear, luminous blue background, the warm leaf color and the cool sky create a striking contrast - crisp and strangely tender. The brushwork emphasizes weight and texture: you can almost feel the heaviness of the ice pulling the leaves downward, suspended in a quiet, cold stillness.
