“Le Pont de l’Europe”, gare Saint-Lazard, Oil on Board
$190
One of a kind: there is only one.
Wonderful impressionist oil on board of Saint-Lazard Station, signed “Milos” and dated 94 lower left. It’s based off Monet’s masterpiece - a series of paintings devoted to the Gare Saint-Lazare, the place for him to catch the train to Giverny. A large open space is depicted where the locomotives have pulled into the statin under a bright sky mingled mingled with clouds and smoke from the locomotives overflowing and rolling under the warehouses. One can almost hear the rumble of the trains..
