Mid Century Abstract Figurative Oil on Baord

Fantastic oil composition on board, signed and dated 56 lower right, featuring a striking abstract composition divided into two distinct sections. On the left, geometric face in muted tones of brown, green, teal, and blue are arranged in a fragmented, collage-like manner. These angular forms are layered over a soft beige background. On the right, the painting shifts dramatically to a darker palette, with a simplified linear outline of a face in neon-like hues of green, pink, and purple emerging from a black background. The stark contrast between the two sections—light and geometric versus dark and linear—creates a duality that feels both harmonious and tension-filled. Wonderful!
