Surrealist Acrylic Drawing

Wonderful acrylic drawing in a matching black frame, signed and dated beside the image, which plays like a witty portrait that’s been turned into a visual riddle. A suited gentleman in a black bowler hat faces forward, his face split into bold color blocks - hot red on one side, cool teal on the other.

The surreal twist lands right at the center: a keyhole replaces part of his face, and a floating key hovers beside it, pinched delicately between raised fingers in an “OK” gesture—like he’s about to unlock himself. A curled moustache adds theatrical charm. At the bottom, a small yellow cup releases a thin curl of steam. Set against a flat, sunny yellow background, the whole piece feels playful and dreamlike, intriguing!
