Watercolour Rural Landscape on Paper

Soft watercolour landscape on paper, signed lower left, capturing an orchard in bloom beneath a pale, luminous sky. In the foreground, a loose grid of blossoming fruit trees is painted in delicate whites, blush pinks, and silvery greens, their airy canopies dissolving into one another with a light, atmospheric touch. Beyond them, a grassy rise leads the eye to a large blue barn and a scattering of farm buildings, adding structure and quiet presence to the otherwise gentle, flowering scene.

The palette is subdued and harmonious, built from spring greens, dusty mauves, soft browns, and misty blues. The artist uses transparent washes and feathered edges to suggest light filtering through branches, hazy and poetic!
